Mortgage fulfillment servicer Promontory MortgagePath is looking to hire mortgage professionals for its Denver and Danbury, Connecticut locations. The eight positions currently open are fully remote during the pandemic, but will likely return to in-person at a later date.
At its Denver location, the company is looking for a lock desk analyst, a loan processor, an implementation project manager, a loan closer and a tech lead front-end engineer.
At its Danbury location, Promontory MortgagePath is looking for a senior loan coordinator and a loan processor.
The majority of the positions are associate level with at least three to five years’ experience in the industry, as Promontory MortgagePath is looking for individuals who will “hit the ground running.” However, as it continues to hire through the pandemic, the company said it is looking to open more entry-level positions in the future.
Founded in 2015, Promontory MortgagePath delivers point of sale technology to smaller community banks that it says “wouldn’t necessarily be able to compete with the Wells Fargos and Chases of the world.”
Behind the technology, the company has processors and underwriters who assist these community banks with taking the loan from application through a close – especially banks who do not have the full-time staff to fulfill large numbers of mortgages in the same amount of time.
“So, our goal is to give small community banks opportunity to provide mortgages to their community, and therefore, provide more opportunity for people to have their dream home,” said Nicole Santistevan, human resources representative at Promontory MortgagePath.
